Veterinary Surgeon Wanted
We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic colleague to join our wonderful team
In an era of corporatisation, we are proud to announce we are looking for an additional veterinary surgeon to join our independent veterinary practice.
Started by friends with one shared vision: to build an ethical and environmentally-conscious practice that offers outstanding patient care and unrivalled client services. We are recruiting for permanent full-time and part-time veterinary surgeons to join our supportive and experienced team.
Our purpose-built surgery has been designed utilising excellent facilities to provide the highest standards of patient care whilst creating an enjoyable space to work in. We have separate dog and cat areas throughout the practice, allowing us to achieve ISFM cat-friendly status, and thoughtful features such as a quiet room for pet owners coping with bereavement. Our practice is bright and spacious with a large social area stocked with snacks and drinks- and frequently homemade cakes!
Our working practices are built on a culture of good wellbeing, health and happiness. We look after each other and share the work equally. The right candidate would become a member of our close- knit inclusive team. We enjoy spending time with one another, be that at work or socially outside of work. Regular social events to be enjoyed include evenings out in town, dinner at the local pub and plenty of dog walks. Our working relationships are built on mutual trust and respect- we believe not only does this create a pleasant environment for our clients (human and animal) but also allows us to function smoothly as a team, as we all need each other to function at our best.
The successful candidate will benefit from the clinical freedom enjoyed by being an independent practice. You will be a motivated and passionate individual, working seamlessly alongside our team to provide high quality veterinary care and a fantastic client service, caring for pets as if they were your own. You will be free to workup and manage your own clinical cases and enjoy building your own client base, whilst benefitting from the support of our experienced team, with whom case discussion and collaboration are encouraged. Each day will be varied with a mixture of surgery and consults. The working pattern is a 4 day working week with a share of Saturday mornings (8.30-12) and no OOH.
Do you want to get back to enjoying the aspects of being a vet that you love? Come and join our forward-thinking vibrant practice. We are set on building something extraordinary.
